Stella Maris is a Christian counseling practice providing evidence-based intervention for individuals and families. Services are provided online throughout Texas or in person in Coppell, TX. ​

Under the federal No Surprises Act, individuals who do not have health insurance or who are not using health insurance to pay for services generally have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much their care is expected to cost.

 

If you are do not intend to have a claim submitted to your health insurance plan for counseling services, you may ask Stella Maris Center, PLLC for a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services.

 

If you schedule services at least 3 business days in advance, you may also be entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate before the scheduled service.

 

Your Good Faith Estimate will show the expected charges for counseling services that are reasonably anticipated based on the information available at the time the estimate is prepared.

 

The Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not require you to receive the services listed in the estimate.

 

If you receive a bill from this provider that is at least $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate, you may be eligible to use the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process.
